Deliver first-class software solutions to the global business
Implement key parts of the system to ensure high performance and high degree of extensibility of the system in the long-term
Design software components according to business and functional requirements
Provide L3 support to the application's global user community
Cover business hours on a rotational basis
Act as a hub of knowledge for less experienced developers
Help remove technical impediments raised by the team
Perform peer reviews
Test deliverables against a user story's acceptance tests
Prioritize the work to maximize value, taking into account risk, effort and dependencies
Update the team, Product Owner, and stakeholders on the progress
Willingness to travel if required
Good knowledge of Java 6/7
Good experience in Java server side development
Hands-on experience with Spring and Hibernate
Hands-on experience with eXtreme Programming (XP) e.g. TDD, code reviews, refactoring, pair programming, continuous integration
Ability to apply Agile values and Agile principles at all times
Good knowledge about Oracle DB
Excellent communication skills to cooperate directly with Sales/Trading / Operations internal clients, thus a combination of domain knowledge, delivery experience as well as relationship building skills with these clients will be invaluable
Unix experience
Strong team player prepared to take responsibility for tasks, and ownership of issues
Distributed Information system of the client intended to maintain operations for derivatives trading on global markets, internal & external orders management, risk and P&L calculation.
