Release manager
Responsibilities:
- Working in a matrixed managed, fast paced release management team ensure a program wide common release process is applied for all applications in a major program.
- Manage tightly integrated releases across complex interdependent systems for a mixture of SaaS, On-Premise and legacy applications.
- Align code drops for applications to support the SIT, UAT and L&P test cycles.
- Gather information and document work instructions on the build, package, release and deployment processes for a series of SaaS applications to aid with cutover and post day 1 support.
- Build, Package, Release and Deploy patches for SaaS applications.
- Participate in command center activities in support of application deployments.
Recquirements:
- Education: Business Admin/Technical Bachelor's or Master’s degree or equivalent experience
- Understanding and experience with:
- Past experience of the administration and configuration of SaaS applications including any of the following Salesforce, Apttus, Workday, NetSuite and MuleSoft
- Continuous integration and deployment of complex applications
- Experience of GitHub, Jenkins, Linux admin
- Value of commitments to business made by a deployment team
- Incremental delivery and the value of metrics
