Quality assurance for telecommunication modules. Telecommunication modules are industrial-quality products which provide any system with the ability to communicate over cellular network. This requires a lot of testing in different network conditions, environments, tests against simulators and protocol verification devices both on cellular network side (GSM, UMTS, LTE, CDMA) and interface side (RS232, USB, SPI, I2C). Apart from manual tests there is a lot of automated tests written mostly in Java or script languages which allow for fast verification without human intervention. Design and development of such tests is very important part of activities which means a lot of software development. In case any issues are found department assists development with identification of possible reasons, log gathering etc.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Working in software verification for embedded systems (telecommunication, automotive)
- Development of automated test cases
- Execution of tests on various levels (module, integration, system, acceptance)
- Execution of test using dedicated telecommunication testing equipment (protocol testers, network simulators)
- Reporting of defects and assistance in identification of their causes
REQUIRED
- Experience in testing
- Good English (spoken and written)
- Higher Education or last year of study in technical field
- Target orientation
- Ability to take responsibility for the tasks realization and high quality assurance
- Effective communication skills
- Fulfilling commitments and willingness to show initiative
PREFERRED
- German knowledge
- Experience in embedded systems verifications.
- Knowledge in area of embedded software for telecommunication, automotive.
- Experience in working in international projects
- Domain knowledge in the area of telecommunications (protocol stack), automotive (CAN , the architecture of multimedia devices and controls)
- Certificate ISEB / ISTQB
- Knowledge of protocols (PPP, IP, TCP, UDP, SSL, FTP, HTTP, SMTP, POP3)
- Knowledge of Linux operating systems, Windows CE / Mobile
- Knowledge of hardware interfaces (RS232, USB, SPI, I2C, GPIO)
- Openness to travel abroad to the extent required by a project (synchronization with Customer, knowledge transfer)
