- Define and document high level solution and system architecture
- Ensure broad strategic alignment with dependent IT department domain architects and the broader Credit Suisse architect standards
- Ensure solutions alignment with GBSS IT Architecture & Strategy, business model and requirements
- Developing of POC prototypes; awareness and investigation in new technologies and best practices within Credit Suisse
- Understand the CST organisation and seek architectural collaboration and/or technical synergy opportunities across the organisation
- Understand the End-2-End requirements, the ‘big picture’ across teams and projects and ensure Architecture aligns to this
- Lead of Business and Workshops and Meetings
- Recording of essential information and conclusions
- Estimate the level of effort and duration of entire projects
- Consulting and coaching developers in technical design, development standards & best practices
- Defining and reviewing technical concepts in the area of Business Intelligence / Management Information and Data Warehousing

About the Project: Group Business Support Services (GBSS) is a department of Corporate Function of the bank which provides a wide range of services to the bank, formulating and implementing real estate strategy, managing Business Delivery Centers, and delivering business support services, which include security, records management and language services.
GBSS IT provides large number of IT applications built on diverse tools and technologies to support GBSS services.
In addition various transformation and innovation initiatives within GBSS require huge involvement of GBSS IT.
Group Business Support Services focus around four basic criteria:
- Data & MI is a consistent focus from all CRE industries – the importance of having a strong data strategy, emphasis on being able to trust the data and being able to derive actionable outcomes from dashboards and reports.
- IoT is growing at a rapid pace but suffering from mass number of vendors, lack of industry standards (impacting integration) and security (Cyber).
- Cyber Security is a growing concern esp. with the adoption of more connected devices. More collaboration across the industry is needed to develop strategic solutions.
- The Digital Workplace – CRE moving towards integrated use of technology in the workplace (i.e. reservations, way-finding, Smartdesks, AV). Industry increasingly thinking about services and not applications.
Our team: GBSS IT Team is around 30 people in 4 main locations: Zurich, NY, Pune and Warsaw. Thanks to technology, we stay connected and have a great collaboration.
The Polish branch of GBSS IT consists of 6 people. The team is equipped with complementary skills, starting with very technical ones (development, administration, security), through the business-oriented (analysis, project management), ending with architecture and strategy. As a team, we do support very open communication, readiness to help each other, knowledge sharing, self-development and after-work regular meetings with the whole GBSS Warsaw team (1 dev team
