• Ensuring our supply base is supporting the strategic direction for Tesco within the category. • Managing the supply base
in Europe and identifying new suppliers, sources, or product opportunities as well as developing key / strategic supply
relationships to their full potential. • Leading the development, implementation and execution of the strategic business plans
for certain category. • Managing my team to deliver on time against all aspects of the Sourcing Critical Path (Product
Development, Technical, Order Management). • Being an expert in the certain category for region, showing competence
and expert knowledge of the products, the regional manufacturing capabilities and global industry trends. • Managing team
to host and facilitate effective buying trips that deliver against business objectives and sourcing priorities. • Managing
negotiations and managing costs. • Developing trusted relationships with key Stakeholders across the business. • Supporting
and coaching team, using experience, knowledge and creativity.
• Minimum 5 years in commercial role (buying, sourcing or other related) • Experience in coaching & people management •
Influencing and Negotiation Skills • Ability to travel on a regular basis • Problem solving • Excellent command of English •
Good knowledge of Excel • Production Knowledge is desirable
