For our Client, world''s leading provider of FMCG packaging, we are looking for a professional Sourcing Director who will introduce innovative procurement ideas and best practice solutions which bring real value to the company''s bottom line.
The best candidate will be challenged with developing, executing, monitoring and improving sourcing strategies globally for number of categories from materials, non-inventory or Capex.
- Develop strategy for defined spend on global and/ or regional level through effective category analysis
- Manage the company's currency and commodity exposure, value, risk and cash
- Work with local Purchasing Managers on aggregating and leveraging country and region spend levels
- Lead multi functional site teams to ensure delivery of targeted cost levels and product quality
- Implement and manage changes and interventions to achieve cost savings
- Report remotely to VP Global Sourcing
- Master Degree in Economics, Business or Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in strategic sourcing department in manufacturing environment
- Business orientation and proven results in category strategy development and implementation
- Strong suppliers'' management and negotiation skills
