Statutory Accountant with German

For our Client, a global mineral exploration and production company, we are looking for a motivated and expereiened Candidate for the position of Statutory Accountant with German
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
- reviewing the statutory balance sheet
- prepare required information in order to complete tax returns
- leading the statutory processes for one of German entities
- VAT registries
- preparing financial statements in closely collaboration with manager and strong engagement with AP/AR teams
- maintaining the local database up to date
- supporting the auditors
Requirements:
- at least 4 years of previous professional experience in accounting area
- position would suit a qualified accountant (ACA, CA, CIMA, ACCA, CPA)
- good knowledge of both the German and English language necessary for a daily conversation with vendors and internal communication
- strong computer skills; good working knowledge of SAP/Oracle & Microsoft Office
