For one of our Clients-international company from the ‘white goods’ industry (location: Wrocław), which produces refrigerators, stoves and dishwashers, we are looking for experienced Candidates for the position: Supplier Development Engineer.

Candidate employed on this position would drive assigned group of Suppliers (Suppliers Package) towards Operational Excellence by developing their ability to deliver quality parts and services, through the application of effective preventative and problem solving techniques, as well as ensuring flawless launch of new products through appropriate quality planning. Future Supplier Development Engineer would be responsible for Existing Products Improvement: monitoring ongoing quality performances of Suppliers Package, by using SAP and IT applications and taking full leadership of Suppliers Package, managing and accessing the quality improvement plan and serving as quality single contact point between Supplier and Company. Candidate employed on this position would define Focus Suppliers and work with them by utilizing adequate problem solving techniques to develop Corrective Action Plans. Future SDE would Support internal analysis of defective components returned from the field and joint analysis at Suppliers’ premises and work with right speed and priority to resolve significant / epidemic quality issues caused by defective components on the market. Candidate employed on this position would be responsible for New Product Introduction (lead PIQ projects ensuring timely progress of the activities and discipline from Suppliers’ side; validate Supplier quality and manufacturing processes development for the new product; Ensure positive completion of PPAP / FPA;). Finally future SDE would be responsible for New Sources Qualification/ Suppliers Development - in alignment with Purchasing strategy qualifying new potential sources or developing capabilities of existing Suppliers according to Company Quality standards. Candidate employed on this position would coach and develop Suppliers’ skills by training them on quality tools as Six Sigma (OpEx), FMEA, SPC, 8D / Drill Deep & Wide, etc.

To be successful in this role Candidate should be experienced in: ccOpex /OpEx, Contract Management, cost of Leadership and Modeling, Price Margin Realization and Project Delivery Excellence (C2C 2.1). Future SDE should has knowledge and professional skills in order to New Product Introduction, Customer Quality, Risk and Project Management and Supply Chain Understanding. Successful Candidate should be proficient in Fact-based Negotiations, innovative and has very good command of English.
