For Kingfisher Sourcing & Offer, organization with a very well recognized brand in DIY sector and a strong presence in Europe, we are currently looking for a professional Supplier Development Engineer/ Manager who will work with company''s strategic suppliers on delivering reductions on products'' costs.
Based in Warsaw, the best candidate will be challenged with designing and leading costs efficiency projects worldwide.
- Work closely with sourcing department on product efficiencies in key categories (wood products, kitchen, bathroom, storage)
- Assess suppliers' capabilities in order to improve the efficiency within their production area
- Lead cost efficiencies projects at suppliers' manufacturing sites
- Ensure projects' timeframes and deliveries on time
- Support and work effectively with counterparts internationally
- Master degree in technical field
- Minimum 10 years of experience in manufacturing, sourcing, buying and product development (regional or global scope)
- Very good understanding of production techniques: lean, kaizen, 6sigma
- Proven successful track record in project management
- Very good knowledge of wooden products
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Willingness to travel up to 50-70%
- Fluency in English
