Cubiware is a company developing software solutions for interactive digital television and IPTV. Our company works with clients and partners across the globe, while our solutions have been deployed in USA, Europe and Asia. Cubiware clients include electronic device manufacturers, Pay TV operators and telcos. Due to rapid growth of our company we are currently looking to fill the position of:
Support Engineer (Linux)
Location: Warszawa
Responsibilities:
- Providing technical support within projects as a remote and on-site service
- Troubleshooting and maintenance of IPTV and VOD systems
- Developing and maintaining good relationships with customers by ensuring highest level of customer service
- Cooperating with partner companies (technical aspects)
- Deploying of IPTV and VOD systems
Requirements:
- Experience in similar position
- Fluent English
- Strong knowledge of Linux (CentOS, Ubuntu, Debian)
- Working knowledge of networking (tcp, routing, switching)
- Hands-on experience in Bash/Ruby/Python scripting
- Knowledge of MySQL
- Ability to think analytically and solve problem
- Client approach
- Availability to travel frequently
