Job Description:
- Headquarter: Warsaw as primary place of work.
- Willing to work at client's locations mostly across Europe, but also other locations, for short or long term.
- Willing to travel min. 50% (annual) of time and could be more. Travel is required and may be 80%-100% on a weekly basis on some projects (typically Monday - Friday) for some periods during the year.
- 8+ years of Consulting or functional experience across one or more of the following areas:
- Environmental, Health and Safety:Identifying opportunities, development of programs and systems to comply with EHS regulations, implementation and execution of EHS programs, EHS performance reporting, EHS training.
- Sustainability Performance Management:Assessment and data gathering, identify risks and quantification, guidelines, KPIs and systems, Vendor and Product selection, delivery through IT platform, strong knowledge of following products: Enablon, Credit 360, SAP SuPM, HIS.
- Experience in Smart cities - City IT & Communication network solutions, Waste, water & recycling solutions, smart grid Services and / or energy Efficiency is a plus: city growth strategy and sustainability, opportunity assessment, roadmap and targets, delivery- IT solution/ PMO for capital projects, monitor and manage, client walkthrough audits, renewable sources of energy, energy targets and roadmaps.
- Sustainability Strategy & Valuation: assessment and data gathering, identify risks and quantification/valuation, guidelines, KPIs and processes, GRI reporting and report writing, financial valuation and sustainability.
- Worked in an international context servicing global clients or worked internationally
- MBA from a top Business School or a PhD.
- Bachelors and / or Masters in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, Chemical engineering or Environmental Policy will be preferred.
- Should have excellent communication, presentation and client interaction skills.
- Should have an analytical bent of mind with capability of deciding on nature of information needed and the ability to derive business sense of such information.
- Should be able to think logically and present ideas convincingly.
- Fluent in English and any other European Language (German, French, Italian…)
- Initiative in keeping abreast of changing industry practices, analysis and design methods, tools and techniques and emerging technologies.
Typical responsibilities may include:
- Regulation and Strategy:Developing a sustainability strategy and complying with sustainability regulations.
- Operational Excellence: Improving cost effectiveness and efficiencies in core operations.
- Emissions Management:Reducing energy consumption, waste and emissions.
- Sustainable Infrastructure: Improving energy efficiency and reducing emissions through large infrastructure projects that involve energy, transportation and construction.
- Interfacing with client teams (global and local) to identify key process design opportunities
- Efficiently engaging client on aspects related to Sustainability (such as emissions, renewable sources of energy, energy efficiency, smart city design etc.) and assisting in developing solutions for identified opportunities encompassing resource allocations, risk management, time/task analysis, and estimating factors
- Mapping ‘as is’ and designing client’s target operating model
- Developing and managing business requirement specification
- Project management and offshore / onsite client management
- Engaging with client teams and client environment; facilitating resolution of key client issues
