System Administrator with Active Directory

Responsibilites
- Monitor and action service requests via client in-house Access Management toolset;
- Security management of the Active Directory and LDAP in accordance to standards, including maintenance of standards and policies;
- Manage escalations from senior Management and key Business partners across regions;
- Analyze current manual processes to identify areas of continuous improvement and increased efficiency opportunities;
- Proactively highlight/analyses issues and raise awareness to the Engineering team and feed into Product Management for remediation;
- Drive change to improve both technical products and processes providing a more efficient and cost effective service to the end user;
- Provide analysis to other teams to reduce risk and enhance controls
Ensure OLA's are met, prepare and create ad-hoc reporting statistics using Business Objects, SQL and MS Excel
Requirements
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to directly support business users and HR Staff;
- Very good command of English is a must
- Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite products;
- Very good knowledge of how local IT Security Policies are structured;
- Experience in Access Management and associated IT Security processes;
- Hands on experience in Active Directory Security Administration
- SQL - experience in creating queries and running reports;
- PowerShell - experience in creating, analysing and running scripts
Nice to have:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience;
- Good understanding of security principles (profiles, authentication, authorization);
- Understanding of Active Directory and Shared Drives permissions standards (including DFS);
- Strong interpersonal skills, customer orientation, strong work ethic and self-motivation;
- Ability to work independently, with peers and collaborate across teams;
- Positive attitude, ready to help end-users with their issues;
- Problem solving skills (Root Cause Analysis);
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently;
- Experience in Business Objects and alternative reporting products;
- Knowledge of IT Service Management processes and best practices (such as e.g. ITIL)
