As a System Engineer Application for Unix / Linux applications you will support our internal projects integrating vendor software into our test and production environments, thereby ensuring their compliance to surrounding processes and standards.
- Excellent knowledge of Solaris Unix and/or RedHat Linux
- Very good knowledge of network technologies and network protocols
- Competent knowledge of security architecture and technologies (e.g. PKI, SSL, Cryptography)
- Familiar with web technologies, protocols, standards
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a diverse and challenging workload effectively in a highly demanding environment
- Ability to work well in a collaborative team and independently with little supervision
- Competent skills in shell & Perl scripting, good understanding of installation automation
- Sound knowledge of database technologies, especially Oracle
- Passion for technical writing is beneficial
- Reliability, drive and commitment
- A very good command of English, German language skills are not mandatory but would be of advantage

Full technological ownership will be in Krakow. High availability, high workloads and complex technical background (i.e. math, stats) is expected.
