Responsibilites
- Work within offshore part of a distributed team that provides BAU („Business as Usual") services for a portfolio of applications. BAU is essentially comprised of Level 3 support and small enhancements.
- Initial technical analysis of incoming issues
- Handle incoming incidents and service requests, either resolving them or routing to offshore team for resolution
- Coordinate activities with multiple groups, including deployment and environment support teams
- Applications monitoring
- Support of technical upgrades such as migration to new version of application server
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in L2/L3 support, DevOps or similar roles
- Excellent to communication skills, ability to cooperate efficiently with multiple IT groups to get things done
- Must be a team player, quick learner, detail-oriented, well organized, and have strong problem solving/analytical skills
- At least basic programming skills
- Database skills, SQL
- Experience operating (e.g. as a build and deployment engineer) within at least one of the two main technology stacks: .NET or Java
- Experience with CI (Continuous Integration) tools, if it's Bamboo it's a plus
- Experience with monitoring tools
- Experience working with tracking tools such as JIRA
- Flexibility in work late hours if required
