Responsibilites
- Support legacy automation platform within the bank.
- Provide support for distributed support teams
- Coordinate release with appropriate support groups
- Participate in requirement gathering for new projects
- Support documentation completeness for new and existing products
- Participate in development of perl and shell based automation toolkits
- Design and coordinate complex cross product changes
Requirements
- Senior Oracle DBA knowledge in database administration
- Good knowledge of database backup methods and technics
- Good understanding of database security
- Solid background in database patching
- Good RAC knowledge
- Good understanding of GoldenGate and DataGuard concept and configuration
- Solid background in shell scripting
- Unix (RHEL & Solaris) administration experience required to support oracle database.
We offer
DBA stream is being organized in the existing Infrastructure Services Team to provide Database Services. Dealing with Oracle-related activities, the team is extended to cover MS SQL & Sybase services. Team is responsible for the set of activities to be handed over from the customer.
Among them are:
- prebuild and deploy binary packages to DEV, UAT environments
- develop and maintain a number of toolkits developed for usage by Service Delivery Team
- participate in provisioning Database Services (automation of install, upgrade, backup and decommission activities)
- investigate and propose new technical solutions to be used in the customer environment
