- Regular communication with customer

- Cooperating with QA team and colleagues in Kiev, Krakow and London locations
- Developing java strategic solution

- Assisting the team with:
- Agile development of feature based deliverables.
- Thorough testing of features built.
- Adhering to design guidelines and standards.
- Ensuring builds are completed without errors.
- Bug fixing
- Second line support along with the rest of the development team.
- Code Reviews
- Project management experience – 2 year+ - managing a distributed team of around 10-15 developers
- Good understanding of SDLC, Agile methodology, Kanban
- Experience with MS Project
- Strong People management skills
- IB domain experience required
- Excellent communication skills
- English - Advanced
- Russian language skills – upper intermediate - fluent
- Minimum - 5 years of recent experience in Java development – no actual development tasks
- Experience with Java 5+, Spring framework, Hibernate, Lucene/SOLR
- Experience with web-based frontend technologies (HTML, JQuery / YUI)
- SQL - good knowledge, Oracle dialect preferable
- Unix - good + Unix scripting - basic
Our team does develops, maintains and evolves of a large scale enterprise system consisting of intranet web applications and back-end services: ETL, Workflow engine, Rules server. The system implements data management and workflow in the domain of Client and Legal Entity reference data in top tier Investment Bank. We are looking for a candidate who joins the team of seven to help us progress with steady improvements in application interfaces and system technology base. Project in turn offers wide variety of technologies where one can improve coding and design/architecture skills: Java, Groovy, Spring, Hibernate, Struts, Web Services, Lucene/Solr, Oracle, Sybase, Informatica, IBM Web Sphere, Apache Tomcat.
