Responsibilites
- Processes customer request, gather required information and create tickets.
- Works to solve the problem with the customer
- Solves configuration / environmental problems
- Instructs other teams on required actions to resolve the client's issue
- Maintains virtual environments.
- Prepares and deploys software components and virtual images
- Setup and configuration of Continuous Integration environments and tools
- Maintenance of Continuous Integration Environments, Tools and Scripts
- Setup, configuration and maintenance of Source Control Systems
- Creation, maintenance and decommissioning of Virtual Environments
- Maintenance of configurations
- Installation and configuration of additional software components
- US onsite presence
- 24/5 support coverage (work in shifts)
- Easy ticket status tracking and reliable SLA
- Proactive systems health status monitoring
- Performance metrics collection and reporting
- Knowledge base & Runbook development for reliable records of all tickets, calls, problems and resolutions
Requirements
- Experienced system administrator / configuration manager with strong *Nix and Scripting experience, sound communication skills and clear sense of responsibility.
- 5+ years of system administration experience
- Strong scripting skills
- Strong knowledge of Java server environments and middleware
- Experience in establishing and supporting of CI environments
- Experience with version control and repository tools
- Experience in maintenance of virtual / cloud environments:
- VM Ware Cloud Environment
- Java / J2EE / JDK
- Linux / Unix
- Jenkins, Team City
- Artifactory, Nexus
- SVN, Git
- Tomcat, Websphere, ServiceMix/Fuse
- Sonar
- Bash scripting
