Test Automation Developer

Our Danish client, SDC (a software house specialized in the financial sector) is creating a team of 2-3 Test Automation Developers preferably with experience from the banking industry. This team is expected to grow over the coming years. After an introductory phase the consultant will become part of the Quality Assurance Department working out of Warsaw with occasional travels to Denmark.

For the first 6 months more intensive travelling is expected. It is estimated that it requires 2 weeks onsite every month at SDC in Denmark. This need will be reevaluated after the first 3 months. The candidates should be willing to travel more intensively in this period.

Job Description:

• The job is a combination of Test Automation development for surveillance, projects and development-assignments for Test Automation building blocks.

• The number one priority is Quality Assurance and SDC sees Test Automation as way to improve this.

• The work will be according to ITIL Service Management standards for daily operations (Incidents, Changes, Problems, etc.)

• The candidate will get at local mentor for day to day contact, training and coordination.

What you will do:

• Identify and automate manual test cases where necessary

• Implement and manage continuous automated testing integration

• Apply a sound technical understanding of relevant automated test tools and related technologies (e.g. Selenium Web-driver and automation framework) in development of automated test suites

• Work within a multi-disciplined team, using own experience to contribute towards requirements analysis, development and support processes

What is expected of you:
The consultants must thrive with both project work and maintenance of existing solutions as they can expect to be involved in a combination of both.

• Can work independently with the tasks

• Excellent analytical mindset

• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English

• Good at documenting results

The consultant must have thorough experience with following HP products:

• Loadrunner, Protocols: Web and Java.

• BPM

• ALM

• Sitescope

• QTP/UFT (Visual Studio)

The consultant must have experience converting test cases to automated testing scripts and should be fluent in:

• C ( C++)

• SQL

• .Net / VBScripting

• Javascript

• Concepts as Data-driven test, Key-word-driven test and Object-modular/Model-Based test should be phrases that are commonly known by candidate.

It is recommended that the candidate can document his or hers work with:

• Selenium.

• SoapUI, with Groovy coding.

Nice to haves:

• Previous experience within the banking domain (an important nice to have)

• Knowledge of either Danish, Swedish or Norwegian will be a tremendous advantage
