The Cracow Video Solutions team is looking for an experienced test engineers who will be a part of a cross functional Scrum team working closely with Avigilon Firmware engineers in Krakow and Vancouver on improving testing environment and testing suites, which includes:

• Develop test scripts using Python to automate functional testing of the device under test (cameras)

• Executing testing scenarios (functional and non-functional)

• Preparing testing strategy of currently developed features and regression

• Establish a deep understanding of all firmware components and their interactions

• Degree in Computer or Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical discipline
• 3+ years experience as an automation test engineer, experience as a Test Leader is a big plus
• Proficient with Python or another scripting language
• Good understanding of networks fundamentals
• Experience with Linux environment

Optional Qualifications

• Experience with developing or testing embedded systems
• Experience with C++, Make and bash
