Hays IT Contracting is an up-to-date B2B form of employment for IT specialists with innovate and developmental projects for TOP Clients close at hand. On behalf of our client, a pan-European consulting group we are currently looking for candidates interested in a position of a Test Engineer.

Location: Warsaw
Pay rate: 500-700/day (depending on experience and abilities of the candidate)
Job type: long term contract (B2B) after 1 month probation

The team will be responsible for building and developing the solution for financial companies but also will join the implementation teams once the projects are started. The Test Engineer will work in one of development teams dedicated on different components of a successful portal platform. He or she will be responsible for developing and executing test plans that cover functional and non-functional (e.g. performance, load, stability) requirements.

 Your responsibilities will include:

• developing, maintaining and enhancing test procedures;
• creating test strategy and test plans;
• designing test cases;
• building and maintaining test automation (e.g. cucumber, protractor, calaba.sh);
• working closely with the product owner and developers in requirements analysis;
• bug reporting and tracking, bug analysis and reproduction.

Ideal candidate should possess:

• a bachelor’s degree in computer science or similar;
• experience in software testing;
• some experience with test automation, tools and methodologies;
• scripting or programming skills;
• excellent communication skills in English;
• initiative, flexibility and ability to learn quickly.

Additional qualities:

• ISTQB and/or Tmap certification would be very welcome
