Main responsibilities:
The main scope of this role is to fully manage the sourcing of the tools (metals stamping and plastic injection) required for Whirlpool New Projects for Dishwashing, Refrigeration and Cooking product groups.
Primary areas of accountabilities include:
- Interacting with the Internal Customers to be aligned on the Project Status and specifications
- Having a project management approach in planning and identify in the critical path
- Leading Supplier involvement with the Internal Customers to be sure there’s an alignment in term of specifications
- Preparing an RFQ collecting all the needed information among the Internal Customers
- Analyzing the RFQ output comparing the different offers
- Identifying the best supplier for the sourcing considering the overall cost of ownership
- Tracking the status of the activities escalating criticalities to the top management
Requirements:
- Technical University degree
- Minimum 3 years experience in a relevant position - minimum background of tooling is required (preferably - domestic appliance or Automotive Industry)
- High degree of understanding of cost drivers, market dynamics and competitive tensions,
- Very good skills in English language ( fluently in writing and conversation)
- Good communication and interpersonal skills (ability to work effectively with incumbent and new potential suppliers as well as with internal cross-functional Managers, Directors and VP’s)
- Capable of working under pressure and prioritizing objectives
- Proactive and problem solving approach
- Strong sense of detail and time management , focusing on delivering extraordinary results and ability to deliver innovative solutions
- High level of energy and self-motivation
- Ability to travel
