Transition Manager

Place of work: Opole

Position purpose

To manage within assignment responsibilities the process of transferring services and staff from one location to another or from one service provider to another, ensuring service levels are maintained throughout. The role also includes maintenance of the budget, project plans and reporting to the customer and internal management.

Main accountabilities

The key elements of the role include:



  • Management of Capgemini Transition work streams and interaction with the Client

  • Delivery of project responsibilities to time, cost and quality

  • Creating and maintaining appropriate documentation to support the delivery of defined transition/project objectives

  • Influence and shape transition solutions, working with bid team, solution analysts and architects

  • Team leader for in scope resources

  • Identify and manage changes in scope

  • Ownership of project financials (relating to project activity under your management) and manage month end processes incl. billing and forecasting inputs

  • Build and maintain a good working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders

  • Adherence to mandated processes and procedures

Requirements

  • Very good command of English (spoken and written)

  • Other language will be highly appreciated

  • Past experience working in transitions or User Services project delivery

  • Project management or transition management skills

  • Comprehension of ITIL methodology

  • Good IT knowledge

  • Excellent and proven leadership and motivational skills. Experience in managing staff when on assignment will be an asset

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Flexible about location and work content 

  • Familiar with the use of Project management tools and methodologies – knowledge of Prince2, PMP or EM is highly desirable
