your tasks
- reading the given terminology regarding materials and research
- convert text from one language to another or more
- checking that the translated content conveys the original meaning and tone
- preparation of subtitles for movies and online presentations
- checking translated texts in terms of grammar, spelling and punctuation
- cooperation with internal team members, clients to provide a translation that meets their needs
- editing content to preserve the original format (e.g., Fonts and structures)
what we expect
- at least 1 year experience as a Translator, Interpreter or similar role
- fluency in German and good command in English
- excellent proofreading skills with the ability to identify grammar, spelling and punctuation errors, good knowledge of content editing tools
- familiarity with translation software
