As a Ukrainian–English interpreter, you will support individuals who face language barriers when communicating with essential public services, including healthcare providers and emergency services.
Your role is to ensure clear, accurate, and respectful communication, often in situations that require empathy and composure. By enabling understanding in critical moments, you will help people access the support and assistance they need.
Your responsibilities:
- Providing consecutive interpretation between Ukrainian and English for Ukrainian‑speaking individuals residing in the US or the UK who are unable to communicate in English.
- Handling voice and video calls with various public institutions, including:
- medical facilities,
- police stations,
- emergency services (911).
- Ensuring clear, accurate, and professional communication between all parties.
- Responding with empathy and composure, especially in sensitive or emergency situations.

- Excellent command of Ukrainian and English (both languages are mandatory).
- Strong listening, retention, and note‑taking skills to maintain a high level of accuracy.
- The ability to empathize with callers while remaining professional.
- High stress resilience, particularly when dealing with distressed or incoherent speakers during emergency calls.
- A stable wired internet connection and a quiet working environment.
- Availability to work at least 6 hours per day.
We process applications only from candidates who have legal access to the Polish labor market and hold valid work authorization documents.
- A civil contract with a gross rate of:
- Learning time (training) PLN 31,40 gross/h.
- Work before midnight PLN 34,00 gross/h.
- Weekends PLN 36,00 gross/h.
- Work after midnight PLN 44,00 gross/h.
