For our client – new opening Shared Service Center and multinational brand we are looking for VAT Manager

- Ensure VAT tax standarization, centralization and compliance within Fluent Europe. Identify and mitigate VAT tax risks
- Ensure consistency, quality & timelines of Fluent Europe VAT calculation, filing, payment and reconciliation; ensure preparation and verification of SAF-T data
- Ensure VAT master data is up-to-date
- Liase with external tax providers
- Coordinate audits by VAT tax authorities
- Improve VAT and other tax processes by developing or implementing best practices
- Further built a VAT functions in the SSC
- Work with European stakeholders on VAT initiatives
- Support communication channels between Fluent Europe Tax and local finance
- Provide and suport local units with VAT and other tax related queries
- Defines ways to measure and report VAT process key indicators
- Provide ad hoc VAT and other taxes reporting to Fluent Europe management
Requirements:
- About 6-8 years experience with VAT on a European level
- Educational background: ACCA/MBA/CPA & Master’s Degree in Finance or Legal
- Characteristics: Seniority, convincing, business acuum, analytical
- System skills: ERP, MS Office advanced
- Experience with tax process standarization and centralization
- Experience with shared services or working in a Corporate environment with a deep understanding of accounting and business processes
- Characteristics: Strong financial, IT and analytical skills coupled with operational focus;
- Set challenging but realistic objectives and demonstrates urgency for achieving these goals at a high standard of performance; is results-oriented in meetings and strives for closure on issues
