Support Win10 optimization project.
Work closely with engineers and operation teams.
The administrator will collaborate extensively with Zurich, Singapore and New York based teams in providing project delivery, problem and change management. Furthermore, utilize customer standards/baselines to ensure global consistency with respect to installations and implementation of environment.
Own, progress, report and deliver key project deliverables as allocated by team management (such as platform upgrades, re-engineering of core infra components).
To provide control, manageability and integrity of the environment to maximize service availability to the users and to provide reports and process controls as required by the Regional manager.
To assist in the design, testing and implementation stages of Virtual and Remote projects related to services for customer in Europe.
Essentials Skills and Qualifications:
- At least 3 years’ experience of managing systems in an Enterprise Environment
- Citrix / VM vareexperience at least 3 years
- PowerShell scripting in an Enterprise Environment
- Ability to manage project deliverables
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, to keep things simple, patience and creativity, conflict management skills.
- Proven extensive experience of supporting an end user environment.
- Strong Teamwork and communication / information sharing.
- Attention to detail and proactive management.
The Virtual Engineer role is a technical one providing 3rd line support for the banks Virtual and Remote systems.
The main objectives of the role are to take ownership for Win10 optimization project.
They will also execute planned support activities and maintenance including application/infrastructure changes. The candidate will do this whilst collaborating with a global team of resources, collectively providing transparent day to day project delivery for the global virtual desktop estate.
