Our client is a major international company with growing operations in Poland. Due to continued growth of their fund accounting organization, they are looking for several ambitious, creative, and highly experienced candidates for the role of Vice-President of Fund Accounting. This individual will be a key member of the management team responsible for the growth of the company's operations in Poland.
- Fully responsible for managing operations groups which provide various fund administration services for internal and external fund clients
- Ensure a high level of service quality on a cyclical daily basis which might include accounting, valuation, and other administrative services for a diverse range of funds
- Actively engage multiple stakeholders ensure high level of service quality, including internal clients, external clients, Auditors, etc.
- Provide vision and leadership to middle managers and staff within scope
- Prepare and manage non-daily cyclical processes including reporting, budgeting, expense analysis, and compliance reviews
- Support senior management in business development process including the acquisition of new business as well as marinating relationships with current clients
- At least 5-7 years experience in the funds administration industry
- University degree in accounting or related field; Additional financial accounting qualifications a big plus (CFA, ACCA, etc.)
- Proven track record of leadership and management of large teams
- Strong technical knowledge of fund accounting process across a wide variety of funds
- Ability to think strategically and to manage various risks associated with fund administration operations
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Experience in client relationship management with the ability to develop new business
- Fluent in English; Polish language is a big plus
