Web Application Developer with Java and Linux

We’ve opened recruitment process for our UK Client ( Northern Ireland), a software company developing applications for electric industry over the world and using industry leading R&D, state-of-the-art test facilities, in-house manufacturing and quality control.

We are looking for Web Application Developer, experienced in Java, to become a part of our based in Belfast Software Engineering Team.

Following agile methodology you will be responsible for implementation and support of new and existing web applications by:

• Delivering code as well as UNIT and component tests within a continuous environments,
• Configuring and maintaning release and delopyment environments,
• Participating in projects planning sessions,
• Writing technical specificatios,
• Developing scripts to automate and streamline development activities,
• Investigate new technologies and continually updating your technical knowledge and skills.

If you :

• Are experienced in web technologies including HTML, CSS and JavaScript,
• Are familiar with web servers, web applications servers and delpoyment on Lunux-based platforms,
• Are competent in object oriented design using Java,
• Are experienced with JUnit, Spring MVC, Struts2 and Hibernate,
• Are experienced with one or more scripting language (Python, Perl, Ruby),
