We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Web Developer to join us and help us create modern and engaging web products. The successful candidate will work together with a team of developers on a variety of projects ranging from small websites to internal web applications and scalable back ends (PHP).
We require a person with experience in team-based software development, preferably using microservice architecture.
Developing new projects’ back-ends and maintaining existing ones
Occasional front-end fixes
Performing code-reviews and refactoring
Integrating data from various back-end services and databases
Assisting in problem-solving in both development and production environments
Working with technical staff to understand problems and finding a way to resolve them
Introducing new ideas and tools
Taking extra measures to ensure the quality of developed web products
Development of software technical documentation
Writing specifications for new projects
Hands-on experience of PHP 7, including testing (phpunit), profiling, debugging (Xdebug)
Managing/creating Docker containers in different environments
Ability to write clean code and handling difficult and complicated tasks and issues
Knowledge of one of the modern PHP frameworks (preferably Symfony)
Solid experience in dealing with SQL databases (eg MySQL) and ORM solutions (preferably Doctrine 2)
Good knowledge of source control systems (Git)
Practical knowledge of Linux based systems and LAMP/LEMP stack setup
Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript
Ability to communicate in English, both spoken and written (level B2)
