Responsibilities:
Familiarity with databases and web programming languages and automation
Investigation of abnormal CPU or disk utilization issues.
Strong working knowledge of storage environments (SAN, NAS)
Automation via scripting (Perl, Python, Shell)
Support system File Replication, File System Tuning, Upgrading and Configuring
General System Troubleshooting
Fault diagnosis of server or SAN devices.
Maintenance of system devices such as device or code upgrades.
Execute authorized server/config changes or deployments
Monitor service alerts from various vendors and assess impact.
Open service request at co-location venues.
Monitor vendor hardware swap-out of failed devices or components.
Perform connectivity checks
Create/Update procedures and documentation.
Perform role if incident manager when necessary
Requirements:
