On behalf of our client, international logistic company, we are currently looking for candidates interested in a position of WMS Software Engineer. The purpose of this role is Warehouse Management Application suite implementation, development and maintenance inside the organization.
Location: Warsaw
Length: long time cooperation
Responsibilities:
• implementing and deploying setups and configurations of new sites/new customers
• analyzing the process dependencies, defining and building the related application configuration
• identifying and specifying required changes on application
• developing test plans, scenario’s and securing successful execution
• validating, testing, and accepting version/releases of software
• cooperating with (project) team members and key-users
• documenting the project and application landscape and configuration
• reporting development using Jasper reports
• identifying and specifying issues
• identifying and taking into account core business requirements
• supporting, delivering and maintaining according to standards set forward
• cooperating with 1st and 2nd line support, and delivering 3rd line support
Requirements:
• at least 2 years working experience in a similar role,
• knowledge of warehouse logistics,
• functional and technical knowledge of RedPrairie warehouse management solution (Dispatcher/DLX),
• knowledge of Jasper reports,
• knowledge and experience of DBMS solutions,
• experience in software development (testing, deployment, and documentation),
• fluent English, both spoken and written.
Nice to have:
• project management skills (PRINCE2).
