Accounts Payable Accountant (payments team)

Description:
As an Accounts Payable Specialist you will be joining the in-house corporate accounting department in one of the best engineering companies. You’ll work with a positive and dedicated team. Specifically, you will be responsible for:
- Processing Wire, Check and ACH Payments for various countries
- Manual payments entry in Oracle
- Responding to emergency payments in timely fashion
- Following global standardized procedures, practices and techniques
- Cooperating with procurement team and/or outside vendors to resolve routine questions or problems
- Performing testing and implementation of new system enhancements as needed
- Performing other tasks related to Accounts Payable area as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor or Master Degree, preferably in Finance, Accounting or Economy
- Previous work experience in AP accounting
- Experience with ERP systems - Oracle (preferred), SAP or similar
- Fluent written and spoken English
