Your role
Are you an analytic thinker? Do you know how to develop innovative solutions? We’re looking for someone like that who can:
- create and maintain taxonomies; such as those related to the social media or mobile presence of companies
- transforming unstructured data into a structured framework
- Manage and ensure the quality of underlying data sets collected from multiple sources
- participate in brainstorming meetings to design, execute, and deliver novel solutions for investment debates
- identify and source new data sets and promote new use cases for existing and prospective data sets
Your team
You’ll be working in the UBS Evidence Lab team in Zabierzow (Krakow Business Park) as a social research business analyst to help in the execution of primary research to answer investment debates. Our primary research is focused on underlying business drivers utilizing online and alternative data sets such as data from social media, mobile app stores, and online review sites, that helps form the UBS Investment analyst's research conclusions.
Your experience and skills
You have:
- advanced Excel skills
- 1-4 years of relevant work experience; including experience within a research environment. Relevant experience may be in consultancy, strategy and business development, equity research or in social media or online marketing
- a clear understanding of how both businesses and consumers utilize social media
- strong English language skills essential; proficiency in multiple languages desirable
- experience working with large data sets, technical experience creating SQL queries or data visualization skills would be an asset

- a creative problem solver who leverages outside the box thinking
- well organized
