Automation Tester
Main responsibilities:
- Create, execute and maintain automated tests using Microsoft tool (e.g. Visual Studio)
- Estimate, design and execute load tests using Visual Studio
- Gather performance information in distributed environments and analyze load testing results in accordance to the requirements
- Maintain test rigs assembled for load testing
- Setup new load testing environments
- Train Volvo employees in the area of test management, test automation and load testing using Microsoft testing tools (Visual Studio, Test Manager)
- Introduce new practices and solutions to improve test automation and load testing process globally at Volvo
Required Competencies:
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related
- At least 3 years of experience in Test Automation field
- Experience in execution of performance and load tests
- Experience in software development using C# or VB.Net
- Experience in using and MS Visual Studio in testing or software development
- Experience in Test Management and Testing
- Practical knowledge of TFS
- Practical knowledge of .Net platform
- Practical knowledge of SQL
- Excellent English skills
- Excellent Communication skills
- ISTQB Certifications are a plus
