In the responsibility of the contractor are the following tasks:
- Track all activities that are required for a successful introduction of the new controls
- Investigation of network logs and correlation with other inventories to identify clients downloading executables
- Preparation of a list of clients and file downloads that would be impacted by the executable download control based on the investigations performed
- Targeted corporate communications for service introduction
- Interface with the outsourcing provider and the impacted business organizations/clients
- Graduate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related subject; alternatively an equivalent education in one of these topics
- Overall 5+ years of experience which span one or more IT disciplines like: BA, solution providing, consultancy (technical or process), engineering or support
- Overall knowledge on network security concepts, products and services
- High standard of written communication
- Fluent written and spoken English
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience in Network and Network Security services (like internet proxy) will be an additional asset
- Formal training or Certification (e.g. BCS, ISEB) in Business Analysis is an advantage.
- Security certification is an advantage: CISSP, CISA, CSSLP
Network Security in CTO Technology Security Services is globally responsible for all network security products and services like firewalls, proxies, network intrusion detection and prevention systems and network access control. The responsibility includes product management, engineering and service as well as service delivery management. Furthermore, Network Security has the operational responsibility to manage the security configurations running on the security enforcing devices.
The executable download control project has the goal to engineer and deploy a web layer executable download control solution that mitigates the risk of file downloads from the internet by restricting the access to executables for all clients but allow to apply general and user-based exceptions.
