Sales & Marketing General is currently looking for a candidate for the position of Business Developer in a new company that will be incorporated in Poland. This new company will distribute brand products like high-quality and environmentally-friendly kitchen appliances, kitchenware and accessories created to make daily cooking easier and more enjoyable.
Reporting to the Company Founder, Business Developer in Poland is responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of the new company, while achieving the strategic direction and goals established by the Company Founder. Newly appointed person will be responsible for supervision of all staff, effective management of the company from a fiscal and administrative perspective.
Administrative perspective will include taking part in the company registration, dealing with the lessor of the office, outsource services like law firms, financial service provider, logistic centers, IT agencies etc., providing oversight of all administrative requirements and infrastructure including information technology, risk management, legal compliance requirements, managing all office purchasing, making sure that all of the office equipment, IT system are in the office operational state.
From financial perspective, Business Developer will approve all payments out, make the cash flow forecast early every month, review the monthly financial report from the financial service provider and forward to headquarters’ accounting, make the monthly sales forecast and send to headquarters’ accounting, approve the financial service provider’s invoice for monthly service, organize the financial audit and make relevant reports to the government units.
Sales perspective will include communication with the headquarters’ sales office for the general issues related to the local sales situation and serious problems found in the local market, creation of Sales Team (recruitment, induction, management), management of Sales Manager’s daily work. Business Developer will make cost quotations for the headquarters office, analyze sell-in, sell-out trends, define monthly needs in products based back orders, stock and sales forecasts, provide financial estimates and actively manage risks and issues.
An ideal Candidate should have minimum Bachelor degree in business management, law or relevant fields, minimum 5 years’ of experience in sales (good connections with retail chains is a must) gained in an international and/or multinational environment. Applicants should speak fluent English. A future Business Developer should demonstrate sufficient diversity of knowledge and skills to effectively manage the organization including: personnel management, administrative and fiscal management. What is more, should demonstrate proven record of effective administrative, operational leadership and management skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, excellent organizational, analytical skills and a proactive approach to problem solving is a must. Candidate should demonstrate experience in managing the P&L and operations of a sales & distribution driven organization.
