For our Client, an international greenfield Company, producing components dedicated to gas turbine engines in aerial vehicles, we are currently searching for a professional, who will join Company’s growing structure at the position of Buyer.

Working mostly in Plant based in Wroclaw, but cooperating closely with the Overseas Supply Chain team, the Candidate will assume responsibility for both Direct and Indirect spend for the Company and take care of delivery and quality performance. Reporting directly to General Manager, the Buyer will be working closely also with internal teams in order to ensure that production is supported with actions aimed at time performance increasing. Moreover, the person on this position will be also accountable for establishing and maintaining supplier agreements and long term contracts for all commodities, what will be connected with obtaining price proposals and negotiating costs with suppliers. Therefore it will be essential to maintain relationships with existing and potential suppliers. Taking part in creating procurement strategies will also be a part of this role, as well as analyzing buying patterns and regularly reviewing performance indicators. Buyer’s range of duties will include also resolving problems arising from purchase of services, supplies and equipment with both internal and external clients. Moreover, the Buyer will have to create and publish spend analysis reports, as well as maintain and process purchase order requirements.

To apply for this position you need to have purchasing experience, preferably in manufacturing or engineering environment, as well as good knowledge of English. Due to cooperative character of this role, the Candidate should present great communicative skills which would enable him to work effectively as a part of a team. Negotiation skills and ability to interpret contract conditions are also very welcome.
