Our Client is one of the leaders on the Polish media / advertising industry and part of an international group. Due to corporate promotion we are seeking to recruit a talented professional for the position of Commercial Controller. The successful candidate will manage all financial and business control functions, report directly to the local leader and have great impact on business.
- Provide accurate and meaningful financial/management information in a timely manner to enable effective business decision taking
- Critically appraise financials against external and competitor information and make recommendations for successful business development
- Provide assistance to the business with leading and coordination of short and long-term financial budgeting and forecasting
- Take part in contract negotiations with clients and tender processes to ensure maximum profits and adequate risk management
- Implement, document and improve accounting and system procedures in line with Sarbanes-Oxley standards
- Ensure proper working capital management with focus on reduction of outstanding debt
- Drive corporate strategic planning decisions
- Proven skills and at least 6 years of experience in finance/controlling departments (audit background will be a strong asset)
- Experience in media, B2B or advertising sectors
- University degree in Finance related fields, professional qualifications (ACCA/CIMA) will be a strong asset
- Experience in development and implementation of financial plans and strategies
- Result-oriented attitude, ability and willingness to challenge status quo
- Strong intellect combined with good strategic and analytical skills
- Fluency in Polish and English is a must
- Strong leadership skills, proactive and entrepreneurial thinking
