Job Description:
- Headquarter: Warsaw as primary place of work.
- Willing to work at client's locations mostly across Europe, but also other locations, for short or long term.
- Willing to travel min. 50% (annual) of time and could be more. Travel is required and may be 80%-100% on a weekly basis on some projects (typically Monday - Friday) for some periods during the year.
- Graduate degree, master or MBA preferred (top-tier business schools and universities)
- Excellent English communication skills (written & spoken) and good level of the other foreign language e.g. German, Italian, French, Spanish would be a strong asset
- Minimum 4 years of consulting experience working on multiple strategy projects (experience from top strategy and management consultancies, private equity houses or investment banking is required)
- Demonstrate experience in the following specialization areas:
- M&A Strategy and Portfolio Strategy
- Joint Ventures and Strategic Alliances
- Carve-out / Divestiture
- Target Screening
- Commercial, Operational and IT Due Diligence
- Transaction Management and Execution
- Post-Merger Integration
- Business case development (incl. scenario and sensitivity analysis)
- Financial modeling and financial statements analysis
- Sector knowledge in any of the following industries:
- Financial Services (Banking, Insurance, Capital Markets)
- Communications, Media & Technology
- Resources (Oil & Gas, Energy, Utilities)
- Retail & Consumer Goods
- Healthcare & Pharmaceutics
- Strong project management skills
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with a flair for detail
- Very good knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint and Access)
- Knowledge of VBA will be a strong asset
- A high degree of comfort with M&A, strategy frameworks and strong quantitative skills to develop financial or operational models and conduct data analysis
- Outstanding presentation and communication skills (written and oral) – developing cohesive conclusions and presenting key findings, typically to C-level clients
- Demonstrate ability to work with multi-cultural, international teams to deliver high-quality output in short timeframes
