Our Client global trade company, due to its expansion plans financial team seeks for proactive Credit Control/Risk Manager on newly created position.
Credit Control/Risk Manager
workplace: Warsaw
About the position:
- To provide leadership to team of Credit Controllers (5+ people)
- Acting as Business Partner to Sales Force and internal Shared Service Center team
- You are required to have a hands-on approach by managing your own ledger
- To develop and roll out local and group credit control processes and procedures
- Take ownership of any issues and ensure that an effective resolution is reached by liaising with key stakeholders
- To continuously review customer accounts, ensuring cash is being collected to payment terms – monthly reporting to local Finance team and regional structure
- To conduct regular reviews of credit limits by analyzing customer sales turnover information
- Authorization of new credit applications, ensuring internal policy procedures are followed, and that all required documentations is completed
- To assist with audits by ensuring all necessary documents are provided to Auditors as and when required
- You will be responsible for the developments and further enhancements of IT systems (tools) and processes across credit control, ensuring efficiency of processes and accuracy of data is produced at all times
We will pay attention to:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics
- 10 years' experience in a credit risk role, with min. 3 years acting as a Manager – min. 4 people in the team
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and reporting skills
- Strong knowledge and understanding of regulations and procedures
- Excellent time management skills, working with multiple deadline
- Proactive attitude – willing to recommend new tolls, solutions and other improvements
- Fluent communication in English is a must
- Outstanding communication skills – ability to find the best solution to both: Client and the company
