Due to dynamic expansion and growth of our Danaher Business System Department we are looking for candidates for the position of:
Danaher Business System Leader (Lean Continuous Improvement Specialist - reports directly to DBS Manager)
The Danaher Business Systems Leader (DBSL) drives and promotes DBS(Lean continuous improvement) through the utilization of kaizens and associate involvement. DBSL will identify and implement continuous improvement activities to reduce cost, improve quality/productivity and standardized work processes. This will include developing and implementing DBS processes and involving and/or training all associates in DBS either through direct facilitation and training, train-the-trainer activities or indirect promotion.
Key Responsibilities
- Planning, facilitation and implementation of kaizen activities,
- Training of DBS tools to all associates,
- Audits existing processes and systems to assess/determine actions required for improvement,
- Coordinates DBS efforts with Operations staff and supporting functional groups.
Requirements
- Quality/Production Engineering (MSc preferred, BSc acceptable),
- Well versed knowledge of lean manufacturing, Toyota Production Systems and synchronous manufacturing,
- Excellent facilitation/communication skills to work with individuals and to train others,
- Minimum of 2-4 years operations/quality experience,
- Minimum of 2-4 years of experience with lean manufacturing,
- Trained and skilled in the use of all critical DBS (Lean) tools: 5S, Standard Work, Visual and Daily Management, Problem Solving Process, Value Stream Mapping, Kanban system,
- Experience in quality tools such as risk management, PFMEA, SPC, CAPA,
- Knowledge and understanding of employee involvement and team development skills,
- Fluency in written and spoken Polish and English,
- Knowledge of MS Office applications (MS Word ,Excel).
