Your role
Are you an analytic thinker? Do you know how to develop innovative solutions? We’re looking for someone like that who can help us:
- map the social media presence and/or digital strategies of target companies and competitors
- transform unstructured data into a structured framework
- create and maintain taxonomies
- manage and ensure the quality of underlying data sets collected from multiple sources
- participate in brainstorming meetings to design, execute, and deliver novel solutions for investment debates
- identify and source new data sets and promote new use cases for existing and prospective data sets
Your team
You’ll be working in the UBS Evidence Lab team in Zabierzow (Krakow Business Park). Our primary research is focused on underlying business drivers, utilizing online and alternative data sets such as data from social media, mobile app stores, and online review sites, that helps form the UBS Investment analyst's research conclusions. We are looking for talented social research project manager to help in the execution of primary research to answer investment debates.
Your experience and skills
You have:
- 1-4 years of relevant work experience - in data analytics, research environment, consultancy, strategy and business development, social media or online marketing
- high intellectual capacity with strong analytic, quantitative, and critical reasoning skills
- experience working with large data sets
- a clear understanding of how both businesses and consumers utilize social media
- technical experience creating SQL queries (would be an advantage)
- data visualization skills (would be an advantage)
You are:
- proficient in Microsoft Excel
- fluent in written and spoken English
- proficiency in other languages desirable (would be an advantage)
- a creative problem solver who leverages outside the box thinking
