In this role you will be part of Global Motorola Solutions analyst team partnering with Supply Chain organization. You will be responsible for acting as a Subject Matter Expert to a small team of data analysts, developing, implementing and maintaining complex tools used for reporting and analyzing large amounts of data around the globe. Your analysis will serve as a basis for the assessment of the durability and efficiency of the products. Your programming skills, databases knowledge, logical thinking and attention to details will be used to make data driven business decisions. The data prepared by you will allow the managers and engineers to check if the software/hardware upgrades implemented are impacting the customer’s experience as well as the defect ratio. You will have an opportunity to work on a brand new automated system measuring the real time performance of the products in the field. |

• Leading development of new reporting systems based on internal and external customers' requirements.
• Act as a primary contact point for all IT/Databases reporting issues in ever changing IT environment
• Assigning tasks to the team
• Mapping existing database structure to understand roadblocks in planned projects
• Providing structured Repair and Return data to various teams in the organization
• Programming automated queries to pull specific data and metrics on regular basis
• Extensively liaising with IT, Finance, product quality, Repair and Supply chain operational teams
• Defining metrics based on general inputs form requestors
• Creation of quality reports, statistics and metrics
• Analyzing data and providing high level conclusions to the business
• Presenting data to a senior level management
Minimum 4 years of work experience in international team
Minimum 3 years experience with data mining and database environment
Fluent English

Good communication skills and presentation skills
A problem solving mindset as well as an attitude to follow through with plans.
Ability to make independent decisions and to take ownership of problems
Masters degree and/or work experience in Database Environment, Data Mining, Data Analysis, IT.
High capacity for multi-tasking and work under time pressure
Ability to deal with ambiguity
Knowledge of at least one major reporting platform (OBIEE or Tableau is a plus)
Experience in one or more of the following environments: Oracle Databases, Crystal Reports, SAP Business Objects, Microsoft SQL Server, MS Access
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VBA is a plus)
Experience writing complex SQL queries (PL/SQL is a strong plus)
In-depth knowledge of any major programming language is a strong plus
Previous experience with field service database systems is a plus
