DevOps Engineer
Location: Warsaw, Poland
Job Description
- Demonstrated experience operating and troubleshooting DevOps and Software-Defined Infrastructure Control solutions and tools like VMware, vRA/vRO, NSX, Chef, ScaleIO, CIRBA
- Experience creating, managing, and improving monitoring solutions in Splunk, AppDynamics, Tivoli or similar.
- Highly developed debugging skills and ability to solve problems on mission critical systems, VM and software provisioning failures.
- 3-5 years of experience in supporting VMware,
- Deep knowledge of Private and public Cloud solutions AWS, VMware, Azure
- A solid understanding of web application, REST API, SOAP, Tibco EMS
- Demonstrated experience in shell, python or ruby scripting.
Key Responsibilities
- Performing incident, problem and change management for supported applications
- As part of global operational team provide 24/7 onsite support for complex orchestration eco-system
- Help prevent incident recurrence by performing faults analyses, reporting and continues service improvement
- Collaborate with variety of global operational and engineering teams in maintaining and improving the DevOps platforms.
- Communicate with management and application users through our support channel when necessary.
- Run regular problem and change review meetings with stakeholders
- Produce metrics for senior management
