DevOps Engineer
Localization: Warsaw
Salary: 100 - 130 PLN/H net + VAT B2B
Main Activities:
- Delivery of secure, robust, scalable, highly available and self-healing cloud environments on AWS
- Knowledge sharing and collaboration through effective documentation and verbal communication
- Participating as part of a distributed agile (Kanban, Kanplan or Scrum) team.
Technical Requirements:
- Background in scripting
- Technically strong python and bash coder
- Understands and has worked with AWS Elemental MediaLive, MediaStore, MediaPackage and video streaming
- Understands and has worked with AWS multipart upload API
- Able to build servers from scratch
- Experience with containerisation (docker, ansible)
- Understanding of WebRTC signaling
- Experience working with – and configuring - matrix-org, synapse, sydent, and/or messaging clients built on top would be a plus
Skill Requirements:
- Scripting – bash, python (especially Twisted) Database – configuring and maintaining health of PL/SQL RDS at scale
- Automation experience – both server and serverless
- Autoscaling experience
- Broad range of AWS skills (certification preferred)
- Familiar with automation (CI/CD) tools and processes
- Able to communicate (verbally and in writing) fluently, in English
- Be an astute and proactive contributor in pragmatically balancing service scope vs cost
- Would be a bonus: knowledge and experience of instant messaging services and systems
- Nice to have – Flutter, Java, Kotlin, C# or Swift
