Based in Krakow, Poland, the Digital & Social Media Marketer will work in a global team with experienced marketers, consultants and sales teams from around the world. He or she will work together with designers, copywriters and developers on a variety of projects ranging from traditional marketing materials (print) through newer forms of media (video and motion) and across digital and social.
Main accountabilities:
At MACS, being a Digital & Social Media Marketer means you:
● Understand your audience and are channel aware. You’ll understand how to create content for digital and social as well as identifying which channels to use and when
● Understand the business. You’ll be work closely with marketing, sales and bid teams to translate technical, often complex, services into compelling stories and marketing activities. An ability and passion to get to the heart of a solution or topic will be valuable
● Understand how the web works and contributes to business objectives. You’ll have a good knowledge of search, and an understanding of how to optimize content and activities to make it more visible to search engines and your audience
● Demonstrate the value (RoI) of your activities. You’ll be able to measure the effectiveness of your activities and demonstrate to business stakeholders the value of what you’re doing
● Know how brands should engage in proper two-way communication with the target audience and key influencers. You’ll won’t treat social handles and the website like a public-address system (one way) but will understand how to listen to, engage with, and build relationships with your target audience

Before you start our induction training we will check if you have:
● Excellent English (written and spoken)
● Passion for marketing and communication, preferably confirmed by a degree in English, Marketing, Journalism, Linguistics or Communications
● Excellent writing skills (including copy-editing skills, as well as writing and research skills)
● Strong project management skills and experience
● Experience working with SEO, PPC, Google Analytics, Google AdWords, etc.
● Experience of managing budgets (e.g. paid media, events, production)
● A creative mind (and an ability to adapt your thinking to a business context)
