We are looking for an experienced Embedded Tester for the company which is currently dealing with public transport in the Scandinavian countries. It produces software in the form of applications for travelers on Android and iOS, as well as websites. Additionally, applications supporting fleet management, ticket sales and distribution, and travel planning support.
This Teser will join their skilled team, that includes 10 developers, 3 of them work in GO (one person works from Warsaw, the rest from Oulu, Finland).
The team is responsible for the on-board (bus) equipment. Works i.a. over the on-board software that collects from the bus to our central system and the on-board tablet.
Candidate profile
- Love to work in team and to collaborate with others.
- Passion and interest in ensuring quality of what the team delivers.
- Strong technical and design skills and the ability to learn new technologies quickly.
- Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- Good English skills, we use English on a daily basis.
Required skills
- Familiar with embedded system testing.
- Basic experience with version control system.
- Basic experience with CI and CD.
- Experience with bug reporting tools like JIRA.
- Experience in Requirements analysis and effort estimation.
- ISTQB – Foundation Level.
- Good experience with Linux based Operating Systems.
- Scripting skills, Bash, Python.
- Skill in testing communication protocols.
Nice to have
- Experience in writing automated test in Appium, Selenium, Pytest.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and WebServices.
- Experience with test repository tool like TestFLO.
- ISTQB – Advanced Level.
- Experience in testing on different projects.
- Familiar with Internet of Things testing.
