This position will manage and monitor travel activity for IP EMEA by managing travel services vendors, monitoring cost and ensuring contracts compliance, as well as serving as an escalation point for employee complaints regarding online booking tool and travel vendors. Individual in this position will work closely with the regional travel contacts to develop and coordinate global travel programs.

Manage relationships with travel management company and other travel vendors

Oversee meeting and ghost card programs

Oversee the IP Travel Mailbox

Disseminate information on travel related activities, company policies, preferred suppliers, air routes, fares, hotels, car rental, etc.

Conduct periodical travel surveys

Create and distribute Traveling Times newsletter

Create and present seminars for travelers for education and feedback
-
Organize and host quarterly review with travel vendors
-
Work with Corporate Card Services and back-up the Corporate Card Analyst
-
Conduct bi-weekly metrics meetings with the travel management company
-
Present quarterly travel report to Company Controller based on analysis of BCD data and current corporate travel market

Conduct annual hotel RFP
-
Maintain preferred hotel program
-
Coordinate global travel programs and work with global TMCs to resolve travel issues

Work closely with Global Sourcing on travel vendor contracts.Provide data and feedback and implement contracts

Meet with T&E Team in Krakow and RADs Team regarding Global One on regular basis

Involvement in projects, e.g.: Travel Policy Update, Global Travel Management Company RFP, xpedx separation as it applies to BCD Travel, hotelsand our travel contracts, BCD Travel profile Clean-Up (95% complete)

3+ years experience in corporate environment

The successful candidate will have an opportunity to work in a multinational environment with a variety of EMEA locations, as well as external vendors.
The role will have a great influence on the EMEA travel & expense strategy and spending in EMEA. The person in this position will be able to exercise their communication and negotiating skills, as well as test themselves in the data reporting and analytics field.
