Our client is a global pharmaceutical company that establishes a new Finance Sheared Service Centre in Cracow. On behalf of the company we are looking to recruit Finance Controller.
The successful Candidate will be responsible for all accounts ledgers, and reporting systems ensuring quality and compliance with appropriate GAAP standards and regulatory requirements in assigned entities. Moreover, your daily accountabilities will involve ensuring correctness of the cost center and internal order accounting for particular locations. As a part of the team you will be support Finance Director in budgeting and forecasting activities and processes. Your scope of duties will also include managing daily tasks of the team assigned to particular location, also time & attendance, deciding and initiating relevant operational actions, while consulting tactical and strategic decisions with the Team Manager. Additionally, the successful Candidate will be responsible for developing and documenting business processes, supporting resource and productivity analysis and coordinating and leading projects/improvement initiatives/migrations. On the role you will be working closely with Finance Director.
The successful Candidate should be fluent in English and have at least 5-7 years of professional experience from a similar position working with finance controlling, preferable from a SSC/Big4 environment. To be successful on the role you need to have accounting and finance experience and experience with preparing financial statements under IFRS and local standards. What is more, ACCA or CIMA are also essential. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership skills and willingness to work in a dynamic environment with changing priorities. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, problem solving skills and resilience to resolve issues are essential to be successful on this position. SAP experience would be an advantage.
