BASIC PURPOSE AND FUNCTION:
- Properly register accounting transactions in general ledger, controlled and reconciled in compliance with both company’s accounting policies (US GAAP rules) and Polish accounting standards.
- Maintains and balances subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, reconciling transactions; resolving discrepancies.
- Maintains general ledger by transferring subsidiary accounts; preparing a trial balance; reconciling entries.
- Summarizes local financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss, and other statements.
- Supporting external audit by analyzing and scheduling general ledger accounts; providing information for auditors.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE (minumum required) :
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA, Big 4 or similar experience is an Asset
- 4+ year experience with production environment
- Strong technical U.S. GAAP and Local GAAP accounting knowledge
- Knowledge of best practices in accounting and finance
- Require a perfect communication skill both oral and in writing, English and Polish.
